Born and raised in Laredo, Dr. Oliveira has returned to south Texas to practice Audiology after being away for more than 10 years. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Oliveira received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX.

She was drawn to the field because of her passion for hearing health care with the goal of improving the communication needs of her patients. Dr. Oliveira has four years of graduate supervised clinical experience with audiological diagnosis, counseling, treatment, and rehabilitation service at various clinical facilities including private practice, and Ear Nose and Throat offices in the Houston Medical Center area.

After completing her 4th-year externship with Houston Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic, she remained there as a Clinical Audiologist for two years. She holds certification from the American Speech, Hearing and Language Association (ASHA), is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, as well as the Texas Academy of Audiology.
